Exchange 2010 - RPC over HTTPS users cannot connect due to Incorrect Principal Name

Users that connect successfully to their exchange account cannot connect a second time. Find that Exchange 2010 automatically sets up the Principal Name under Exchange Proxy Settings even after removal. This is how to remove the option or to setup the wild card.

- Log into Exchange CAS Server
- Open up Exchange Management Shell
Run one of the following commands:

To set Wildcard:

Set-OutlookProvider EXCH -CertPrincipalName msstd:*

To set to NONE:

Set-OutlookProvider EXCH -CertPrincipalName none

- Have all outlook users using RPC over HTTPS uncheck the "Use Principal Name Option" from their Exchange Proxy Settings and then reconnect to Outlook.
